The true definition of the absence of Goodness: The inability to recognize that the harm you're causing is wrong. When you do something that hurt another who has not wronged you or anyone else to any great degree and yet you recognize that it's wrong then you can be said to be more of a criminal. Thus the real evil amongst us is that which does harm and sees nothing wrong with it.

The present day higher academic world requires a forward looking mindset. Unfortunately this learned sphere of understanding is mired in greed & self promotion, two things that public universities were founded to fight. As ever, it is up to the average Joe to come up with a new paradigm. Or rather it is up to those who seek to understand to create a new system, without incurring the lawsuit happy wraith of corporations seeking to protect their product market.
